The Velveteen Rabbit

The Velveteen Rabbit This week our class has been reading “The Velveteen Rabbit” It was written in 1922. We could tell because in the story the velveteen rabbit had to be burnt because when the boy was sick he had shared all his germs with the velveteen rabbit. The velveteen rabbit wanted to become real. Being real is when you feel like you are apart of something, but to a toy it was nursery magic. My favourite part was when the velveteen rabbit turned real, I think that it was the best part because before he became real he already thought he was real. The story taught me to enjoy what I have because toys don't have a real life unless you think so.
