Tyrannosaurus And Triceratops Poem

Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops
By Jean Burt Polhamus

Tyrannosaurus batted with Triceratops one day
And all the other dinosaurs stayed half a mile away.
They rumbled and they bellowed and they made a dreadful noise!
The fight they fought was guaranteed to tell the men from boys.

Tyrannosaurus yearned to have Triceratops on toast
Or maybe  stewed Triceratops, about which he could boast.
But this time, Sir Triceratops turned out to be the winner!
Big Rex got licked and had to be without his dinner.
